Take notice that the Consent Approval Authority for the Corporation of the United Counties of Prescott and Russell has received applications for consent under Section 53(1) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13 as amended.

Notice of collection

Personal information is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act of 2001, the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, the Planning Act, and all other relevant legislation. Personal information may be used in the decision-making process on the applications, and it may be used to contact you if clarification of your comment is required. It may be shared (along with your comment) with other United Counties and Prescott and Russell departments or agencies for use in the decision-making process. All personal information (as defined by the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act), including (but not limited to) names, addresses, opinions, and comments collected, will be made available for public disclosure. Questions regarding the collection, use and disclosure of this personal information may be directed to the Planning and Forestry Department.

Appeal

If a person or public body has the ability to appeal the decision of the Consent Approval Authority of the Corporation of the United Counties of Prescott and Russell in respect of the proposed consent to the Ontario Land Tribunal but does not make written submissions to the Consent Approval Authority of the Corporation of the United Counties of Prescott and Russell before it gives or refuses to give a provisional consent, the Tribunal may dismiss the appeal.

Appeal of a decision of the Consent Approval Authority in respect of this consent may only be made by the applicant, the Minister, a specified person, or any public body not later than 20 days after notice of the decision is given. If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Consent Approval Authority for the Corporation of the United Counties of Prescott and Russell in respect of a proposed consent, you must make a written request to the Planning and Forestry Department by email at [email protected] or by regular post at the mailing address below.

Notice: Plan of Subdivision

Description:

This application proposes the establishment of a new plan of subdivision. The development will comprise a total of 20 blocks designated for light industrial and commercial uses, serviced by full municipal services, as well as one block allocated for a stormwater pond and two new streets. Access to the proposed lots will be provided via County Road 19.

The subject lands are identified within the “Trade & Industry Policy Area” under the United Counties’ Official Plan.

The Draft Plan of Subdivision applies to the property legally described as Part of Lot 32, Concession Broken Front, Part 1 on Reference Plan 46R-7153, Part of the Road Allowance between Broken Front Concession and Concession 1, and Part of Lot 32, Concession 1, Part 1 on Reference Plan 46R-8378, located within the Township of Alfred and Plantagenet.
