Residence Foundation

Mandate

The mandate of the Foundation is to contribute to the improvement of elderly people's quality of life by means of appropriate installations for their needs.

Objectives

The objectives are to create a capital being enough for supporting major works of renovation in the building, contributing to the purchase of priority and necessary equipment to give quality care and to make the promotion of the Foundation mandate in our community.

Make a donation

The Foundation appeals to your generosity and accepts the commemorative gifts, the legacies and the other contributions for free. Gifts made by organizations or by members of the community allow financing some of the Residence's projects, including modernization of the equipment.

Tax receipts are handed out for every donation of $20 or more.

LIFT ME UP CAMPAIGN

In order to provide greater assistance to our support staff and greatly enhance the well-being, safety and mobility of our residents, the Foundation is organizing a campaign to finance, with your help, a tool that will serve a number of purposes. The objective: to raise $1 million.

The coveted tool costs $ 3,300 per unit. The goal is to purchase 204 units to provide better accessibility and mobility. There is an urgent need to serve the 224 current and new residents who will occupy the new residence. A minimum of 90% of every donation will be earmarked specifically for the purchase of these units.

On December 8, 2023, Mr. Cory Nixon, president of the Vankleek Hill Agricultural Society remitted a check for $ 3,300 to Mrs. Denise Robitaille, president of the Prescott and Russell Residence to buy the first Maxi Sky Motor for the New Residence.

We wish to thank you for your kind generosity in helping to raise the level of care in our community.
